Applying from abroad

The Sultan’s School accepts applications from students who are currently studying outside of Oman.

Please note that the application procedure for applying is slightly different than for students applying from within the Sultanate.

As per a new regulation dated 26. July 2017, the Ministry of Education requires all students applying to The Sultan’s School, who are currently living abroad, to complete the form found below and submit it to the Ministry of Education, Department of Private Schools for approval and attestation.

Therefore, prior to submitting the application to the Admissions Office at The Sultans School, the parent is required to:

  • get the school transcript(s) certified by the Omani Embassy in the country the student is currently in,
  • get the school transcript(s) certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country the student is currently in,
  • complete the form (attached here) and contact The Ministry of Education, Department of Private Schools to get the form approved and certified.

All this documentation should then be submitted, together with the application form to the Admissions Office. The application cannot be processed without submitting the form.

All students applying from abroad are required to sit the entrance test in person.

Readmission of a Student Previously at the School

Parents seeking readmission for students previously at the school are required to submit the paperwork as for new students.

Places are subject to availability and entrance test results.
