Formula Ethara is the Junior Competition of F1 in Schools aimed at inspiring children of the future through Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM). Students are invited to develop their own businesses and in doing so, create a car that is both aerodynamic and meets the demands of the competition rulings.
This challenge tests student’s engineering, technology and business skills as they tackle the many facets of designing, testing, marketing and making their own miniature paper race team car. As well as their designs, the teams are also judged on their teamwork and verbal presentation skills. At the finals, teams have to demonstrate all aspects of their entries, which includes team car racing, building a team showcase car, a team display and slideshow, and a team presentation.
Well done our brilliant students.
