Before You Apply

To streamline your application process, please have the following documents ready in PDF format. Having all the necessary paperwork organised will ensure that your application can be processed quickly and efficiently, allowing us to provide timely updates on your child’s admission status.

Required Documents

For Omanis:

  • Completed Application Form
  • Medical record and vaccination card
  • Term One Report for SY 2024-25
  • MOE Medical Form [Download]
  • End of Year Report for SY 2023-24
  • Signed Tuition Fee Schedule
  • Parents’ IDs and passports
  • Four recent passport-sized photographs
  • Student’s birth certificate, ID, and passport

For Non-Omanis:

  • All documents listed above for Omanis
  • Copy of the residence card and residence visa

 

Payment Process

A non-refundable application fee of 30 OMR is required per application. Please transfer this fee to the following account:

Admissions Outcome

Once reviewed, the Head of Primary or Secondary will notify you regarding the admissions decision, which may include:

  • A Confirmed Offer: Admission is granted, with a start date to be determined by the school.
  • Provisional Offer: Student is placed on the waiting list until a spot becomes available.
  • Assessment Invitation: The student may be invited to complete the admissions assessment once the school reopens in August.
  • Rejection Notice: The student may be invited to complete the admissions assessment once the school reopens in August.

If an offer is made, an Admissions Fee of 300 OMR must be paid to secure the placement, along with the Term One Fee. This payment should be made to the Finance Office by the date specified in the offer letter.

Additional Information

Reapplication Policy
Unsuccessful applicants are welcome to reapply the following academic year, but a new application form and supporting documents will be required.

Waiting List Offer Validity
A Waiting List Offer is only valid until the end of the first academic term of the following academic year.

Age & Year Group Requirements
The Sultan’s School Age Group Chart correlates the student’s age with the appropriate year group for application. According to the Ministry of Education:

  • All applicants to KG1 (SY2025-26) must have completed 3 years and 2 months by September 1st.
  • Applicants applying to Primary or Secondary cannot skip a year group when applying to The Sultan’s School.

The Sultan’s School Shop is your go-to source for student uniforms and essential school supplies. Located conveniently on campus, the shop offers a full range of uniforms and equipment designed to support students’ daily needs and academic success.
