The Sultan’s School marked Founders’ Day today, reflecting on a journey that began in 1977 and celebrating 49 years of achievement, growth, learning and shared memories that have shaped the School’s history and educational journey.
We were honoured to welcome His Highness Sayyid Dr Kamil bin Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, who addressed our students on this special occasion, highlighting the significance of Founders’ Day and its place in celebrating The Sultan’s School’s history and journey.
The occasion also marked the launch of the countdown to The Sultan’s School’s 50th Anniversary, marking the beginning of a special year dedicated to celebrating the School’s history, achievements and the generations who have been, and continue to be, part of its story.
The celebration provided an opportunity to reflect on the School’s educational legacy and the many achievements, experiences and milestones that have shaped its journey over the past five decades.
It was also a moment to recognise the students, teachers, staff and alumni who have each contributed to the School’s story and played an important role in shaping the community we celebrate today.
As the countdown to the 50th Anniversary begins, the School looks forward to a special year filled with celebrations, memories and meaningful events that will honour its heritage, highlight its achievements and look towards the future.
Founders’ Day is not only a celebration of the past, but also an opportunity to reflect on a remarkable journey of learning, growth and service, while looking ahead to a future built on a proud legacy and renewed ambition.
The 50th Anniversary year will be a time to bring together generations of the School community, celebrate the memories that connect us, and look forward to the next chapter of The Sultan’s School’s continuing story.
